Smashing Desktops

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

If by any chance you’d like a desktop wallpaper version of the “Bird in Hand” image to grace your monitor, you now can by simply heading over to SmashingMagazine.

Along with some very good company it’s been picked as a desktop calendar for the month of August.

You can download the calendar version but if your not in time you can also get the original version (sans calendar) plus all come in a number of sizes to suit your screen.

How jolly convenient is that?

As proof of my own pudding I have it on my own screen at the moment and I’ve found the heart makes a rather good place to to keep my current project.

Just a thought:)

A nice suprise

I just got an email from super talented illustrator Charlene Chua  who is also an author on illustration portal Illustrophile to let me know that I’ve been featured on the site.

I’m really pleased to be featured on there as Illustrophile is one of my favorite web sites and is one of the first sites I visit after checking my emails.

Thanks Charlene:)

I’ve teamed up with the lovely people over at Droplab in Italy who have created high quality prints of several of my works including the one above.

Available in three sizes to suit your living space they’re printed on to canvas and mounted on to hand made stretchers.

The pigment inks are super bright and will last for as long as 75 years making them the perfect legacy for your grandkids.

The best thing about Droplab in my opinion is that they price their prints reasonably which puts them in the reach of most peoples pockets.

Check them out here.
