I thought I’d introduce you to Flash our 1968 VW Beetle De-Lux.
He’s the latest in a long line of aircooled Volkswagens that we’ve owned over the years which have included five Beetles and three Kombis.
The first ever car we owned was a Beetle so you could say we were bitten by the bug. He provides our everyday family transport which isn’t bad for a forty year old car. He was named Flash by his previous owners when we bought him so we kept it as we thought it rather apt.
He’s already marked his territory on the driveway with a patch of oil and we have to wrap us warm when we go anywhere as I’ve yet to fix the heating but we all love him none the less.
